BTEC Dance Course – TDS Dance Studios
TDS Dance Studios are running BTEC courses for students entering years 7,8,9,10 and 11 who are interested in Dance. This gives students the opportunity of adding an extra qualification to the exams they are taking at school. It also offers the opportunity of having a BTEC one or two years before the school exams in year 11.

Assessments will be held on
Tuesday September 20th or 27th at 5-7pm or
Tuesday October 4th & 11th at 5-7pm
After Half term, BTEC Classes will be held on Tuesdays,
at 5-8pm in Hilton
BTEC Courses
Courses are now running and potential applicants will be assessed/auditioned in the class on a Tuesday between 5-7pm.
Examinations
The examinations for this course will be held in the summer of 2024, either at The Firebird Centre or at Deda in Derby, the venue will be confirmed nearer the time and be dependent on the number of students.
Fees
Audition Fee £20
Course Fee (including examination entry fees): £1440 – payable in monthly instalments of £60.00. A 10% discount is offered for payment in full.
How old do I need to be?
We are accepting students from year 7 taking the exam at the end of year 9. There is no upper age limit. This gives students the opportunity of adding an extra qualification to the exams they are taking at school.
How large are the Classes?
The number of students in each class is limited to 16. This way we can give students plenty of attention and guidance in order for them to obtain the best grade possible.
How to Apply
Fill in the online application form and pay your £20 audition fee, you will then be allowed to come to the centre on the next available Tuesday 5-7pm.
